YOUR TASKS:
Construct a text of a specific genre that represents your discipline or field (your future profession), or an area of special interest.
You have two options: Academic lecture or Ted Talk.
In either case, this text should emanate from a sense of interest, passion, fluency, and authority, as well as an understanding of what a Ted Talk or Academic Lecture actually is and does.
You must write-out the lecture/talk in paragraph form AND create a detailed outline of this lecture/talk.
You will deliver this 10 minute lecture or Ted Talk in front of class.
