Clearly define the what the term ‘Temporary Protection Status’ means.

➢ Who and what countries does this does this currently apply to?
➢ What challenges have been brought against this status in recent years (last 3 years)?
➢ Why have the challenges been brought?
➢ What impact would removing ‘temporary protection status’ have or has had on the people who either currently benefit from this or have had it removed? Or their countries that would have to receive them back?
➢ Using one country that has this status, build a case study or focused look at how that country’s citizens came to be granted the status and what impact any current changes to the law would have on multiple levels.
➢ Be sure to speak to what changes the Trump administration has made to this law.
➢ What positive contributions has this particular population from the country you have chosen to focus on made?
➢ What has the economic impact of having members from the country you have chosen to focus on had on the US economy?
➢ What has the social impact of having members from the country you have chosen to focus on had on US greater society?
➢ Provide an analysis of the policy as it stands today. Your analysis should include the strengths of the policy and the weaknesses of the policy, if any.
