  • Question: Does Strict Parenting Help Teenagers Succeed Later In Life?

    $30.00

Question: Does Strict Parenting Help Teenagers Succeed Later In Life?

A debate essay gives you the opportunity to apply the developmental theories and research we have studied to real-world questions and problems. For this assignment you must develop a well thought out argument for each side of the debate and include at least one outside reference to support each argument. You are also expected to refer to the research and theories presented in the textbook.

A concluding paragraph should be included that summarizes each side and provides some resolution:

    • a) State which side has the strongest argument and why, OR
    • b) State that the debate cannot be resolved without further research and suggest one or two research projects that would contribute to a resolution.

  • Critique of Leadership Behavior and Its Impact on Student Success and Retention in Online Graduate Education

    $10.00

Critique of Leadership Behavior and Its Impact on Student Success and Retention in Online Graduate Education

    Helpful hints:

To begin an article critique, first carefully read the article. You may want to highlight if you come across things like purpose, findings, conclusion, etc. Examine the title and the year it was published. You may need to know the time period to understand relevance of the article, so be sure to note the year published.

An article critique is similar to a summary but it will also include your opinion in certain areas of the critique. For the purpose of this course, a critique will only examine the following areas of an article: purpose, problem identified, method, discussion/findings, and title, clarity, and literature support of writing.

  • Mini paper – Dementia and elderly people

    $22.50

The topic of your paper is anything you would like to write about. Make sure that your topic is about healthcare issues related to the elderly population. I have a few emails that are asking for more clarification. Im not sure what I can do to add to the clarification. I have left the topic open so you are free to choose. I thought that would be more enjoyable for all.

Also, here are the directions from the syllabus:

Over the course of the semester, you are required to write four (4) mini-papers.

Your mini-papers are another method of reflective writing. These papers may touch on areas of interest you wish to reflect on further; the mini-paper is an opportunity to do just that.

Your mini-papers will need to follow these guidelines:

    •    At least 4 full pages in length plus reference page. Do not include a cover page. Points will be deducted for papers that do not follow the page length requirement.

    •    You are free to choose the healthcare topic that you like. BUT, you must relate that subject to the elder population within your paper.

    •    Your paper needs to be your original work. It should be on a topic that you originate and complete the research on. Along with this, your paper needs to be an individual effort. Plagiarism is unethical, unacceptable, and will result in a failing grade for this course.

    •    Please explain the issue using sources and facts, and provide a thorough explanation of how you feel about it (your opinion). If you use sources beyond your own opinion, these sources (including the text) should be referenced appropriately within your response and a list of references should be supplied at the end of your document.

    •    Papers will be submitted to the appropriate Dropbox by the assigned deadline as an attachment. (Please make sure your paper can be opened by Microsoft word. I have seen a growing number of papers submitted that are in a .lnk format and I cannot open them. If you are using a Mac make sure that the file converts correctly). If you do not submit it to the correct location, or you submit it after the deadline, you will not receive credit. If I cannot open the file due to your file formatting mistake your paper will not be graded and you will receive no credit.

    •    Mini-papers should be spell checked, grammar checked, and proofread prior to submitting to the appropriate Dropbox. Read your paper out loud; this will help you catch any mistakes that are overlooked by the other methods (missing words, wrong words, etc).

    •    Papers should be 1.5 spaced with 1-inch margins all around (top, bottom, left, right) and 12pt font. Your name and the page number should appear in the header of the document.

  • Develop a basic research design

    $10.00

This week, you will develop a basic research design, based on YOUR original topic from your literature review and problem statement assignment.

The assignment should be at least one and a half pages (double spaced), and include your name and a title for your project.

The design should describe how you will test your hypotheses. This could include qualitative and/or quantitative research strategies. Regardless of what you select, clearly describe the following:

    1. What is your main research question?

    2. What are your variables of interest and how are they measured? (For example:)

    a. Independent variable: Sleep – measured by number of hours of sleep per night

    b. Dependent variable: Coffee intake – measured by number of cups of coffee consumed per day

    3. The type of data you will collect (primary or secondary? WHERE WILL THE DATA COME FROM (If secondary, which data set are you using? If primary, how will you select your sample? Will you use a random sample, convenience sample, snowball sample, etc,? Explain the procedure for accessing your sample). Will you conduct a cross-sectional or longitudinal study?

    4. Will you be using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods to analyze your data? Which type of design will you use? Describe the procedure for conducting the study. If you select an experimental design, describe the experimental sequence; If qualitative, describe the approach (ethnography, phenomenology, etc.); If mixed methods, describe the mixed methods approach (convergent, embedded, etc.); if quantitative describe how the data would be analyzed (descriptive, correlational, etc.)

  • SOCIOLOGY 498 – HW4: Annotated Bibliography (ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY –GENDER AND CAREER CHOICE)

    $40.00

    Annotated Bibliography

Purpose: The purpose of this step is to analyze the relationship(s) between your sources and between your sources and your research question. This will be building on the critical reading done on 1 article completed during the last step.

For each source, briefly summarize what evidence it provides to answer your research question. (this may build on the relevance of the source, but it should not be an exact copy of that cell).

For 15 sources (12 of which should be peer-reviewed articles), analyze that source in comparison to another one of your sources. This could be based on type of methodology used, size of sample, hypothesis, findings, how variables are measured, etc. If you analyze Source 1 in comparison to Source 2, then your Source 2 analysis should be compared to a source other than Source 1. Keep in mind all analysis should relate back to your research question.
