Determination that the musculoskeletal disorder is work-related
$10.00Determination that the musculoskeletal disorder is work-related
What are some of the factors that you would take into consideration in making your determination that the musculoskeletal disorder is work-related
Virtually all health professionals need to be able to deal with occupational health challenges that they face.
Consider the following scenario:
Suppose that you are a supervising health manager of a warehouse. One of the workers in the warehouse who commonly lifts heavy boxes complains to you about chronic pain in his low back. Although he routinely performs tasks involving heavy physical labor, you are unsure about his level of physical activity at home and outside of work. You would like to be certain that the injury is work-related, because he may have fallen at home. Or, the back pain could be rooted in some other cause.
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS (1 page each):
1.What are some of the factors that you would take into consideration in making your determination that the musculoskeletal disorder is work-related?
2.In your discussion, include why it is difficult to distinguish between a work related MSD and non-work related MSD.
Present a scholarly basis for your response.

How Canadians construct and maintain colour line after 1867
$20.00CANADIAN CULTURE: Great Canada Mysteries – How did Canadians construct and maintain a “colour line” after 1867
Part II: Essay Question: You will be asked to respond to the essay question below in the take-home essay portion of the exam. One essay = 50 marks. The instructions that appear on the exam are as follows:
In ESSAY format answer the question below. Remember, a good essay should have a well-constructed thesis, arguments supported by evidence, some counter-arguments (if applicable to the question) and a thoughtful conclusion. You essay should include evidence from lectures, videos, discussions/GCM, and the text book. NO outside research is required. Please remember to use specific examples from post-Confederation Canada to back up your assumptions! And, above all, have some fun with it. An important point to remember: I am not looking to trick you or to find out what you don’t know. I am interested in understanding what you have learned about CDN history after Confederation.
1. Question: Canadians most often see society in Canada within the context of multiculturalism, a mosaic rather than a melting pot. However, this has not always been, nor may it now be, the case. How did Canadians construct and maintain a “colour line” after 1867? Be sure to cite examples from Canadian history with specific references to the experiences of Canadians of African descent, French-Canadians, Japanese-Canadians, Chinese-Canadians, Indo-Canadians, and original Canadians (Métis, Inuit and First Nations). Conclude by offering some thoughts on Canadian society today and what you see as the country’s most promising future.
The essay question requires you to consider: “What is the nature of Canada?” You should construct a well-thought-out thesis (not only what you are going to argue but how you will argue it) and present your arguments in a coherent and clear manner. You would also do well to make specific references to historical events, places and people throughout the essay as a way of providing evidence for your arguments. You should use the lectures, GCM websites, videos, discussions, and the textbook as sources of information. Finally, you have a chance to wax philosophical in your conclusion so do take the opportunity to state some of your poignant observations making sure that they follow from the rest of the discussion in your essay. Because this is a take-home exam, it is my expectation that you will construct a fairly sophisticated and nuanced answer.

Organizations always experience an ebb and flow of talent
$10.00Assignment: Knowledge Management and Transfer – Organizations always experience an ebb and flow of talent
Organizations always experience an ebb and flow of talent; one of the challenges is that as talent leaves the organization, does corporate knowledge also depart along with them. Most organizations do not measure knowledge loss simply because they do not manage the knowledge base they have. A hint that there is a problem in your organization occurs when you discover that you or your team have been working on a project that another individual or team is also working. Worse, you discover that the problem your team was working on was solved some time ago by another group in your own organization.
I included both a Word document on Black Board and a link for the article. Read the article and comment…also it is fine if you use other articles on the same topic.

Concert report: Attend a live dance concert from the current quarter (CARMINA BURANA)
$10.00Concert comparison report
Attend a live dance concert from the current quarter (CARMINA BURANA) which I did not attend but I have youtube link about the dance performance attached in the end, you need to watch the related video first and then write me a concert review paper, the instruction is below.
Also, please note that concerts that are not on the dance concert calendar MUST BE APPROVED BY THE INSTRUCTOR AHEAD OF TIME
PLEASE BE AWARE, that it is essential that you write a review of a concert you attend rather than summarizing reviews you find on-line. That is a serious offense that is easily recognized by your instructors. Please see UW’s policy on plagiarism: http://depts.washington.edu/pswrite/plag.html
Develop a perspective that compares and contrasts two pieces or sections from the show, and create a thesis statement that is the last sentence of the introductory paragraph. Here are examples of well-developed thesis statements. Please keep in mind that these samples are meant to be models for the types of sentences we are looking for, but not to be copied and used in your paper. The expectation is that you create your thesis on from your own thoughts and experiences as we want to hear what YOUR response is to the assignment:“Two pieces from The Chamber Dance Concert, “XXXX” and “YYYYY” caused me to consider my pre-conceived notions of gender and relationships because they addressed these topics from different viewpoints”.
“The choreography presented at Cornish Dance Theater was incredibly diverse in style and theme, however in the two pieces, “XXXXX” and “YYYYY,” the choreographers payed particular attention to his or her use of the stage space to communicate an idea.”
“The performers In Dayna Hanson’s The Clay Duke were incredibly successful in communicating the emotional story that the concert was based on through the use of articulate and specific gestures, and this was especially evident in the sections titled “XXXX” and “YYYYY.”
You have now seen and written about enough dance that this should be fairly mature. Your perspective could be primarily INTERPRETIVE: what did you think the dances were about? It could be ANALYTICAL: did the choreographer/s use the same movement or compositional devices in unique ways from each other? It could be EVALUATIVE: did you think the dances were particularly successful at communicating their idea or in their use of choreographic choices? or in their actual performance of the movement? Or it could be a combination of all those, it is important, though, that your review is not just a synopsis of the dances but offers a unique well-developed thesis rooted in course concepts.
Determine what movement or other compositional devices from the dances will be the evidence to support your thesis. What did you see that allowed you to arrive at your thesis, how can you best describe what you saw to the reader to help make your ideas clear? Be sure to include 3 component descriptions
Put it all together. In the first paragraph, introduce your perspective, set the context for the whole concert, and then, clearly outline the idea you are going to develop more fully through the rest of the review. Remember that you are discussing specific choreography in two dance pieces.
When crafting your essay, I recommend discussing dance piece number 1 in the second paragraph and dance piece number 2 in the third paragraph. For both of these paragraphs, discuss moments of choreography that support your thesis – think of specific movements as your evidence. As always, use 3 component descriptions to help your reader imagine the dance as you saw it.
Review the major points of your essay in the concluding paragraph. Make sure that you have explained how all of your observations tie together. Does the review effectively make the point you want it to make?Formatting Your Work
The final review will be a word document, one-two pages, Times New Roman, double-spaced, with 12-point font and should include a heading in the left hand corner of the paper with first and last name, Lesson 04 Assignment, and the date.
Grading rule
+ 5 points for the first paragraph taking a clear and thoughtful perspective in the form of a thesis statement about the choreography that compares and contrasts two sections from the concert that is analytical and/or interpretive and/or evaluative, or all three.+ 5 points for the rest of the paragraphs in the review remaining focused on your perspective and developing it further.
+ 5 points for supporting your claims with detailed descriptions of what the bodies were doing as evidence including 3 component descriptions, and staying focused on the dances rather than the overall experience.
+5 points for organization, grammar, sentence structure and for including a concluding paragraph
= 20 points maximum

Accommodation Minimal Impairment of Religion
$30.00Accommodation, Freedom of Religion, Distinction between Belief and Conduct, Minimal Impairment of Religion
A case comment is an extended commentary on a particular court case. The purpose of a case comment is to give a writer the opportunity to assess not only how a specific case was disposed of in court, but also to survey the development of that area of the law represented by the selected case and respond critically to the decision made by the court. A case comment should therefore be regarded as a type of interpretative essay which focuses on a particular case, but which is not limited to a simple exposition of its details.
A successful case comment combines description and analysis. The case itself needs to be described succinctly. At the same time the judgment must be analyzed in a critical manner that displays:
– Some sense of the state of the law regarding the issue in question (i.e.: previous case decisions pertaining to religious freedom or “precedents”)
– A commentary on the potential future implications of this decision on both Canadian law and Canadian society, including how it may have influenced particular decisions since this decision (if the case you have chosen was decided some time ago)
– Your own assessment as to whether or not the court was correct in its decision and why.
Two levels to this: a) Was it a good legal decision? (i.e. was decision consistent with Charter as you understand it?) AND b) Was the decision good for society in general/ was it “just”?THE STRUCTURE OF THE PAPER:
Introduction: Set out the context for the discussion by establishing why a specific case has been selected for commentary. Why is the case important? What is the controversy? What exactly will be focused on in the commentary and what is your argument?
The Decision:
– What are the central issues raised by the case? Explain the conflict.
– What previous court decisions speak to this issue?
– What was the court’s decision? Summarize the reasoning provided for the decision. Summarize the dissenting opinion of the minority (if provided)Critical Analysis:
– How did this decision relate to previous decisions pertaining to the issue of religious freedom? Has the court affirmed or departed from key precedents? Have court decisions since departed from the precedent set in this case (if applicable)?
– What are the wider legal AND social implications of this decision?
– Do you agree with the court’s decision? Why or why not?6 pages
